Introduction To Bookbinding - Online Class

Learn three of our favourite bookbinding stitches with this Introduction To Bookbinding class. In these self-paced workshops you will make a Japanese stab book, a 3-hole pamphlet stitch book, and an exposed twisted stitch journal using leather, vegan leather or Kraft-Tex.

The finished journal in this kit are:
- one A5 (8.5 x 5.5") Japanese stab book
- one A6 (4.5x6" approx) 3-hole pamphlet stitch book with 20 pages (front and back)
- one A6 (4.5 x 6" approx) journal with 96 pages (front and back)

Suitable for beginners, this class walks you through the process of preparing your materials, and stitching your books together. We will also show you how to add personal, unique elements to the books as you make them.

You will learn the skills to create additional books, in any size, that you can make over and over again. These books are wonderful for writing, sketching and art journaling with watercolour and other materials. They are perfect to give as a handmade gift.
